What exactly is a sprouting lid? You mention a jar and it has a lid…or a cap…then you mention a “sprouting lid”… If I’m to follow your directions accurately, I need to know if this is another term for the lid…or the cap…or, now that I mention it…am I dealing with three different entities? (You can’t expect a complete novice to know these things. On a computer I’m even more illiterate.) Thank you, Judd

Whoa…! Now I see a sprouting lid on a picture of it. (My computer is a slow dinosaur and the pictures accompanying the test took forever to come up. I assume a sprouting lid can be purchased at a local cooking store? (Some times you can’t find something as simple as a cheesecloth sachet, I’ve found, so I may have to scout several cooking stores if this is an esoteric endeavor.) Thanks again, Judd
