Elimination Diet, Day 14

I may receive a commission if you purchase something mentioned in this post. See more details here.

Decision: Nightshades are out for the rest of the diet. But not necessarily for good. If you have a reaction, it is recommended to heal and then after a few months, you can test again if you desire. When I have finished everything, I will test nightshades individually: potatoes, then peppers, then tomato dishes without seeds (since apparently it is possible to have issues with just the seeds), then whole tomatoes if I’m still doing okay. But for now I will resign myself to no more nightshades, as sad as that is.

Detox and Exercise
Oil Pulled
Nettle and Rose Hips Tea
Walked 2.5 miles

Health
My arms were still irritated this morning. Getting better, but slowly. I decided to forgo attempting any potatoes today and just focus on healing. Felt fine otherwise.

Food
Breakfast: Apple Pie (Unfortunately the link to this recipe is no longer active)
Lunch: Brown Rice with Pesto, a spinach salad with Probiotic Mint Salad Dressing and fermented vegetables
Dinner: Mung Beans and Rice with mixed vegetables.
Snacks: Grapes, an apple

Preparation
I’m spending the night at my dad’s so I can work for him a bit tomorrow. I prepared some meals and picked out leftovers, since I can’t have the nightshade dishes I was going to make up there. I also made up a soup for when I test nuts on Friday, just because I had time and didn’t know if I would on Friday.
